This week it’s time for a “tune-up” for your most valuable business asset – your body, mind and spirit.

So let’s start with right at the top and run a check up on your attitude.

We’ve all experienced it as one time or another in our lives. Like a low-grade fever, the ‘Negativity Virus’ can infect us before we even realise what’s happened. We feel a little off, like a mild depression or a nagging tickle of worry. The strange thing is  we want to feel better but we keep going back to the source of the infection – the pessimistic words we’re exposed to or use ourselves.

  1. Take care with what you feed your mind. That includes TV, the internet, books and music.
  2. What’s the average attitude of the 5 people you associate with the most?
  3. Watch the labels you hang on yourself, especially in your thoughts.

The good news is that there’s a cure!

Starting with a strong does of Vitamin C as in ‘C’onfidence’  follow up with words like ‘I Can’ and ‘Optimism’.

Vaccinate yourself with Belief and Anticipation. Take a deep breath of Abundance. And how about one of my favorite prescriptions – Belief in Success?

Repeat as needed.

In fact, I challenge you to turn every negative word around and find its positive on the flip side. Say it out loud. We owe it to ourselves and those we come into contact with.

This isn’t about a Pollyanna attitude but rather a reminder of just how powerful our words and thoughts are. They create our reality. Our outlook and actions are influenced by the way we express ourselves. If our brain is fed a constant diet of “The sky is falling” then no wonder we’re ducking and running for cover!

Join my campaign for a healthy attitude. If you’ve got some great alternate phrases and ideas to counteract the “Negativity Virus “ please share them in the comments.

Then get out there and expose others to the cure!
